Upon your arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo, you will be warmly greeted by our representative and transferred directly to the hill capital of Kandy. En route, experience a scenic drive through Sri Lanka's lush countryside with an optional stop at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage or a local spice garden. Upon reaching Kandy, check into your hotel and embark on a city tour featuring a visit to the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, a stroll around Kandy Lake, and a stop at the local artisan craft centers before unwinding for the evening.
After a delicious breakfast, depart Kandy for the picturesque mountain station of Nuwara Eliya, often called "Little England." Enjoy a scenic drive winding through rolling green hills, stop at a traditional Sri Lanka tea plantation and factory for a guided tour and fresh tea tasting, and visit the historical Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple. Continue your journey to visit the sacred Seetha Amman Temple and explore the stunning flora at the Hakgala Botanical Garden before checking into your hotel in Nuwara Eliya.
Following breakfast, check out and begin your descent from the cool central highlands toward the tropical southwest coast. Enjoy the breathtaking landscapes, cascading waterfalls, and roadside vistas along the route to the beach town of Bentota. Upon arrival, check into your resort and spend the rest of the day at leisure relaxing on the golden sandy beaches, swimming in the ocean, or taking advantage of the resort's luxury amenities.
Rise early for a coastal excursion down to Mirissa, renowned for its beautiful crescent beach, Coconut Tree Hill, and vibrant morning ocean views. Spend the mid-day exploring Mirissa's coastline or participating in optional marine excursions, then make your way back toward Bentota with stops along the southern coast to visit a turtle conservation hatchery and enjoy a scenic boat safari along the Madu River. Return to your Bentota resort in the evening to relax.
After breakfast, check out of your resort and take a comfortable drive along the highway to Colombo, Sri Lanka's bustling commercial capital. Enjoy a comprehensive city tour covering prominent landmarks such as Independence Square, the Gangaramaya Temple, the historic Fort district, Pettah Bazaar, and the scenic Galle Face Green. Take time for late-afternoon shopping at premium local hubs like Barefoot, ODEL, or Laksala before checking into your hotel for your final night.
Enjoy your final breakfast at the hotel before checking out. Depending on your flight schedule, your driver will pick you up and transfer you safely to Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo for your onward flight home, carrying wonderful memories of your Sri Lanka journey.
